Conifer Middle School
WWest Jefferson Middle School (WJMS) students have won many school, area, and state awards in Science Fair, Spelling Bee, Geography Bee, Math Counts, Reflections, Honor Choir, Honor Band, and the WJMS Honor Roll. Students have also garnered awards through activities in their community, and most students are involved in community service. Staff recognition occurs through the Colorado Awards program, the district Values Awards, and in-school recognition programs.

After school classes through the WJMS ASSET program are available each semester. classes include intramural sports, photography, rocketry, Homework Club, Student Council, newspaper and yearbook publications, and Star Gazing Club. The WJMS PTA is highly active in supporting students and staff through Honor Roll awards, ASSET, Magazine Sales Fundraising, Reflections, Science Fair, Staff Recognition, and all-school parties.
